John Bryan -Waldorf teacher and lyre builder- passed away on 13. October 2021 at the age of 90.

These LYRES were made in the West Country studio workshop of John Bryan, where they were hand-crafted in selected hardwoods. 
Over many years working in this field, he developed instruments which aim to be as much 'of a piece' as possible.
They combine technical with artistic considerations, using internal lemniscatory configurations to enhance the sound flow within the total design.
